The Business Support Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding the companys customer base, and increasing revenue through strategic planning and relationship management. This role requires a proactive and results-driven leader who can develop and execute growth strategies, manage client relationships, and explore new business ventures to strengthen our position in the UKs food retail and hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue Generation
* Develop and execute business sales and growth strategy aligned with the organisation's expansion goals.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, including corporate partnerships, wholesale deals, and franchising opportunities.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer demands, and emerging revenue streams.
Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders.
* Expand the company's footprint by identifying potential locations for new stores, franchises, and product distribution channels.
* Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts.
* Negotiate partnership agreements, supplier contracts, and investment deals to drive business growth.
Product & Service Innovation
* Identify opportunities for new product development and service enhancements.
* Work with the product and procurement teams to introduce innovative offerings that cater to the Afro-Caribbean and wider UK market.
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity.
* Ensure that the company remains competitive by adopting customer-centric business strategies.
Financial Analysis & Performance Reporting
* Monitor sales performance, market trends, and financial metrics to assess business success.
* Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing data-driven recommendations for business expansion.
* Identify and address challenges affecting revenue and profitability.
Leadership & Team Development
* Manage a team of sales executives and business development representatives, providing guidance and motivation.
* Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience.
* Conduct training sessions to improve team skills in negotiation, client management, and strategic planning.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
