What you’ll do on a typical day:
Support the QHSE Manager in ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental matters are dealt with quickly, efficiently and in line with legislation and best practice
* Ensure adherence to all appropriate health, safety and environment standards in relation to appropriate legislation
* Ensure all details for incidents, accidents, Care Cards and Near Misses are logged fully on Fastworks through training, support and communication of processes to site managers; ensure business
* Review Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work for all tasks carried out within the warehouse
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience in an operationally focused, Health and Safety role
* Essential qualification of a NEBOSH General Certificate
* Strong working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislative framework
* The ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels along with a results and success-driven approach focusing on identifying and sharing best practice
