As a Payroll Specialist at Costa Coffee, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration, support global mobility, and coordinate with third‑party providers.
What you’ll do
* Supporting the administration of monthly payrolls, helping to deliver accurate, timely and legally compliant payroll outputs.
* Resolving payroll queries and escalations, acting as a trusted link between team members, internal stakeholders and third‑party providers.
* Coordinating BACS and CHAPS payment requests, payroll reports, reconciliations, pay overs and payroll schedules.
* Working closely with providers including Ceridian, pension providers and benefit partners to manage BAU activity and process changes.
* Supporting People Shared Services projects, including operational readiness, stakeholder meetings, global mobility and pay for international assignees.
Who you are
* A payroll professional with at least two years’ experience and a strong understanding of payroll legislation, accounting and HR processes.
* A discreet and trusted team player who is confident handling sensitive, confidential information with professionalism and care.
* An organised problem‑solver who can work independently, manage deadlines and deliver accurate results in a fast‑paced environment.
* A confident communicator who can liaise clearly with people at every level, as well as external providers and third parties.
* Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with intermediate to advanced Excel capability and experience using Dayforce desirable.
