Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the smooth daily operations of the nursery, including play activities, learning sessions, and meal routines.
* Help deliver and plan activities that support childrens physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
* Ensure the safety and welfare of all children under your care.
* Build strong relationships with the children, fostering their independence and confidence.
* Collaborate with nursery staff to create a positive, inclusive environment.
* Assist in keeping the nursery clean and organised, contributing to a healthy and welcoming space.
* Track childrens progress and share updates with parents and carers regarding their development.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years environment is highly preferred.
* A compassionate, patient, and supportive attitude toward children.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is a plus.
* Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) are advantageous but not required.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting childrens well:being.
