The role involves managing a mixed client portfolio, preparing year-end accounts and tax returns, and supporting more junior team members with their development.Main responsibilities
* Preparing accounts and tax computations for a range of business structures
* Supporting tax planning and compliance
* Supervising junior team members and reviewing their work
* Involvement in forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc projects
* Providing support and training to clients on commonly used accounting systems
Candidate Requirements
* Strong background in practice (minimum 3 years)
* Confident handling both accounts and tax matters
* Comfortable using cloud-based and desktop accounting tools
* Able to mentor others and work well in a collaborative environment
* Organised, client-focused, and detail-oriented
