Our Maintenance Manager colleagues are an integral part of our exceptional properties. The role reports directly to the Hotel Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in Slough. Maintenance Manager responsibilities will include:
1. Management of all maintenance requirements across the hotel, including infrastructure, repairs, and renovations.
2. Conducting planned preventative maintenance and systematic testing of rooms and electrical equipment, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating.
3. Scheduling contractors for major repairs as required and coordinating work performed by outside vendors.
4. Conducting staff training on equipment and procedures.
5. Ensuring the safety and smooth operation of our hotels to guarantee an exceptional guest experience.
6. Responding to maintenance emergencies.
Other titles for this role may include Maintenance Person, Maintenance Supervisor, Multi Trader, Property Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance Technician, or Chief Engineer. You will already have experience as a Maintenance Person and possess knowledge of trade, regulations, and standards. To succeed, you need to be confident, proactive, and able to take ownership of the safety and functionality of our hotels. Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work are essential to ensure maintenance tasks are not overlooked and minor site emergencies do not escalate into major issues.
