Credit Risk analystYour newpanyA well known plant hirepany, based in Glasgow City Centre, is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Credit Risk Analyst. This individual will join the team on a permanent contract. The position is office based with the hours of work being Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with flexible timings. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.Your new roleIn your new role, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties;
1. Monitor policies and procedures by regularly monitoring and assessingpany policies
2. Ensure that risk mitigation strategies are in place and effective
3. Continuously evaluate active customer accounts to minimise bad debt losses
4. Identify potential risks, take necessary actions to prevent or reduce defaults
5. Review credit limits for customers to ensure they are appropriate and aligned with risk tolerance
6. Address any credit limit excesses promptly
7. Engage with high-risk customers to develop action plans that mitigate risk
8. Rmend provisions for potential bad debts based on risk assessments
What you'll need to succeed You will have previous experience working in a Credit Risk Analyst role. You’ll be able toplete tasks within strict deadlines and have strongmunication and presentation skills, people skills with a hands-on approach.
