We are looking for a Hygiene Manage to supervise a team of hygiene operatives, whose tasks include: cleaning floors, walls and equipment, after production. You will be required to:
Act as a role model for your team.
Ensure cleaning is being carried out to the required customer standards: you will be required to perform walk rounds prior to the end of shift to establish whether re-cleaning is required.
Ensure cleaning practices are performed, by Operatives as per Health & Safety requirements: you are expected to participate in creating and maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Ensure Operatives are provided with necessary training and that this is recorded within their Individual Training Records.
Complete food safety documentation for site and liaise with customer Quality Assurance etc.
Complete documentation, e.g HR documentation: Notification of Absences; timesheets; disciplinary documentation; Accident forms & investigation etc as necessary.
You will be working within a food production factory: it is essential that you have previous experience working in this environment.
We would prefer that you have previous experience of a Hygiene Supervisor position.
You will require good communication skills, as you will need to communicate regularly to all levels of the organization from shop floor through to the site General Manager.
Basic computer skills are essential: emailing; knowledge of Word/Excel
Previous experience of Teams would be useful, but is not essential
You must possess good leadership skills
You will be provided with full protective clothing and equipment.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 16:00-00:00.
