About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in a well regarded Primary school in Cambridgeshire for a long-term position. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting children’s learning and development across the primary age range.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
2. Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required
3. Work closely with teaching staff to plan and prepare learning activities
4. Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress
5. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
6. Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN where appropriate
Requirements:
7. HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
8. Proven experience working within a primary school setting
9. Strong classroom management skills
10. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
11. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
12. A genuine passion for education and child development
