Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for: * Maintenance Planning which will involve scheduling the sites planned and planned maintenance and project activities * Lead weekly and daily planning process and meetings, issuing agreed maintenance plans for upcoming weeks * Continuous development of the site’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) * Outage planning by bringing together the Engineer’s scopes and reports into one outage scope or report * Attend CDM and outage meetings * Act as supervisor for the stores function of the facility ensuring that there are enough spares on site Full list of roles and responsibilities can be provided upon request Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: * Ideally an NVQ Level 3 minimum qualification in an engineering discipline * A formal health and safety qualification will be desirable Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge The Planning Engineer role would suit someone who has: * Prior experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) including continuous development * Prior experience working in a heavy process engineering environment (Power, Paper Mills, Steel, Cement, Petrochemical, etc) * Experience with safe systems of work procedures (ssow) * Royal/Merchant Navy Marine Engineers would be encouraged to apply as well Salary and benefits of the Planning Engineer role * A starting basic salary of �45,408 * Bonus * Private medical * Other benefits Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
