Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Soft Facilities Management division, overseeing a multi-site grounds maintenance contract across South London and Wembley. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, ensuring contracts are completed on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard. The role includes leading recruitment and training, managing team performance, overseeing budgets, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and tenants will be key to driving service excellence and continuous improvement across the contract.Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities.We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.The ideal candidate will have proven experience within landscaping, grounds maintenance, or arboriculture, with a strong track record of managing multiple contracts and operational teams. You will demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, supported by excellent communication and client management skills. You will also have a solid understanding of health and safety regulations and site compliance, alongside a full UK driving licence.This is a full-time, on-site position. An electric vehicle is provided. With over thirty years of experience, we deliver expert, place-based management and maintenance solutions that enhance the everyday lives of the communities we serve.We're a people-first organisation with a values-driven culture that has stood the test of time -reflected in the way we care for both our employees and our customers.Who we're looking for We're looking for someone who not only meets the key criteria below but also embraces our core values – Trust, Respect, Involve, Challenge, and Deliver Excellence – and is committed to earning and maintaining the confidence of our clients and communities.Key responsibilities will include:Manage the delivery of landscaping and grounds maintenance services across a multi-site portfolio, ensuring consistent quality and performanceConduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain high operational and safety standardsEnsure all services are delivered in line with contract specifications, KPIs, and site-specific Health & Safety requirementsLead, motivate, and develop on-site teams, including recruitment, onboarding, training, rota planning, and performance managementProvide day-to-day operational oversight and support to grounds maintenance teams to ensure efficient service deliveryManage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and safe working practicesCarry out regular estate inspections and engage with residents, housing officers, and local stakeholders to address concerns and drive satisfactionMonitor and control contract budgets, supporting cost management and ensuring delivery within agreed financial targetsEnsure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, responding promptly to incidents and implementing corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives, manage customer feedback, and handle escalations while maintaining strong client relationships through clear and proactive communicationKey requirements:Proven experience within commercial landscaping, grounds maintenance, arboriculture, or a similar sectorDemonstrated experience managing operational teams, including leading dispersed teams, supervising staff, and delivering multiple contractsStrong commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and exposure to profit and loss accountabilityExcellent communication, organisation, and client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationshipsExcellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards, alongside competent IT skills (Microsoft Office) and a full UK driving licenceHorticultural or landscaping qualifications and IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) are desirableOur OfferWe believe that diversity makes us stronger.
