Broadmeadow School is rated good by Ofsted and is situated in Wolverhampton. We are a special school for pupils with complex cognitive difficulties whose age range is 5 to 11 years, who are seeking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and driven Teacher

About This Role
We are looking for a Teacher who is flexible, adaptable and creative and able to respond positively to change.
Core Responsibilities
* Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area.
* Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Class Teacher.
* Facilitate and encourage a learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
* Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
* Contribute positively and effectively to the SEND agenda
* Use internally set progress targets, ILP and EHCPs to evaluate pupils' progress and set appropriate targets for improvement
* Lead the review of EHCPs.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant professional qualifications - QTS
* Strong knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and best practices
* Has experience of working in a diverse school environment
* Has worked with SEND pupils; particularly those with complex learning needs
* Could work with any age group within the school
* Has the ability to deliver outstanding lessons
* Be innovative and able to adapt at short notice
* Is able to work as part of a team

* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Participation in relevant training to maintain up-to-date knowledge
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively
