GSC Engineering Excellence Manager This role will look after and will be responsable for our global supply chain engineering applications, processes & data. Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining & supporting our manufacturing application architecture and discreet applications in line with our manufacturing systems roadmap. Maintain & develop our GSC Engineering processes & data model. This role will drive change and collaborate with our global teams to make a difference! Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Support management of budget and resource allocation to deliver strategic priorities & support business needs Development of our global manufacturing systems roadmap & data model Drive best practice across the GSC engineering teams Maximising value and efficiencies within all applications and processes. Support global application selection, configuration & implementation. Drive digital transformation across the GSC. Support & align with The Zeus & Zenith global ERP projects Liaising and collaborating with project / technical leads and preparing future developments within the business. Dive global consistency within engineering applications, processes and data across the GSC Ensure application & data architecture aligns to current and long term strategic plans Identifying & manage external consultancy required to support project deliverables. Ensuring licencing is sufficient to cover business requirements. Support global manufacturing application contract management Identify key business process and add value to business transformation projects Define architecture and develop application blueprints, process maps & data models throughout business. Validate solutions to ensure alignment & consistency with the roadmap. Educating the business to modernised technologies and approaches. Leading, and coaching the team, setting performance objectives for each individual member. Supporting discovery of business requirements and CI opportunities throughout all managed applications & processes. Relevant Experience: Experience in a manufacturing engineering essential Experience in design, quality and other supply chain functions desirable Experience operating globally within a matrix desirable Leadership experience Continuous Improvement/ LEAN principles, tools and methods. Qualifications: Minimum HNC in engineering, manufacturing or supply chain related discipline Able to collaborate and work closely with business stakeholders & and project teams Ability to adapt, support and influence others Problem solving skills with attention to detail Highly articulate with the ability to communicate and present proposals confidently to all stakeholders Previous Agile and Waterfall project delivery The Steam Thermal Solutions business is one of three businesses within Spirax Group.
