Job Overview:


Supporting the GVD (Grocery, Value and Distribution) Channel Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts: Argos and Sainsburys, delivering on sell-in and sell-out targets whilst taking ownership of the full P&L.


Key Responsibilities as an Account Manager at Groupe SEB:


* Take ownership of Argos and Sainsbury's accounts and be responsible for delivering Groupe SEB budgeted sales and profitability targets.
* Manage the day-to-day customer relationship to ensure: orders are being processed/delivered; products merchandised effectively; promotions executed; innovation listed; sell through being generated; and customer feedback being shared back with the business.
* Articulate the projected performance of the accounts, supporting the Channel Manager to measure actuals vs plan and to react accordingly to ensure targets are achieved.
* Using a data-driven approach, you will draw insights and make recommendations to drive account performance and develop strategies to grow sales in the account.
* Attend weekly sales and cross functional meetings to discuss operational matters and resolve issues.
* Ensure accurate forecasts are being planned to internally to ensure customers receive stock they are expecting, and Out of Stocks / lost sales are minimised.
* Supporting Marketing Managers with market-leading “go to market” strategies for new product launches.


Qualifications and Skills required as an Account Manager at Groupe SEB:


* You MUST have previous experience in Account Management or Buying with P&L accountability.
* Previous experience with Argos is preferred, and experience with Sainsbury's is advantageous.
* SDA or Cookware experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* You must be highly driven, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
* You will possess an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
* You are analytical and can draw conclusions from data to take corrective action.
* Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and make decisions.
* Strong interpersonal skills and possess a collaborative approach to challenges.
* You are results-driven and motivated by your objectives.
* You must be entrepreneurial and willing to think outside the box to try new approaches.
* You must be highly IT literate and able to demonstrate competent use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
* You are a problem solver and have a “can do” attitude to problem-solving whilst working cross-functionally.


Overview on package – Account Manager – Groupe SEB:


* Working Monday to Friday.
* Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Tuesday and Wednesday are our core days for cross-collaboration.
