Role Overview
Panasonic Hydrogen Business Office is looking for 2 roles to set up this new business venture. The Zero CO2 manufacturing sites use 3 types of energy sources linked to an Energy Management System. This system balances the volatile generation of power especially from the renewable systems in accordance with demands. This role is fundamental to getting this new business up and running in all aspects.
How you will become part of the bigger picture..
You will:
1. Creating order specifications for Design/Construction/Material procurement
2. Consultations with electric companies regarding grid connection
3. Basic design of high-pressure gas equipment such as hydrogen and nitrogen
4. Negotiation with suppliers
5. Budget and quotation management for Design/Construction/Material procurement
6. Managing project documents such as drawings and schedules and responding to specification changes
7. Collaborate with partners to arrange submission of permits.
8. Review of notification documents prepared by partners such as consultants
9. Review/Supervision of design documents submitted by external partners such as EPC
10. Operation/Maintenance management of electrical equipment and high-pressure gas facilities such as hydrogen and nitrogen
What you will bring to the picture..
11. Project management experience for construction, design work in introducing electrical equipment such as power generation or transfer system.
12. Ability to work with a positive & proactive mindset
13. Experience in establishing partnerships with suppliers, customers, governmental bodies.
14. Logical approach and demonstrable negotiation skills
15. Ability to build the business practice and management skills while paying a high priority to compliance.
16. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in our German and Japanese Teams.
17. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise
18. Strong analytical skills to assess data and prepare reports, both quantitative and qualitative
What would give you the edge..
19. Project management experience for construction, design work of high-pressure gas facilities
20. Previously worked in a start up situation of this size and nature
21. Excellent presentation and communication skills
22. Ability to travel within the UK and Europe
23. Flexibility for movement in case working location is changed.
24. Able to work both alone and as part of a team
25. Continuously learning and developing with the ability to adapt to changes promptly and effectively
