We are now seeking an experienced Economics Teacher to join a high achieving secondary school West London. The successful applicant will be leading Economics in the newly opened 6th form. Economics teachers with experience teaching the EdExcel exam board content will be prioritised for this role. This school sets high expectations for both staff and students, promoting academic excellence across all subjects and maintaining good behaviour. Extracurricular activities are highly encouraged at this school, allowing staff and students to build a positive school community outside of lessons as well.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Have a degree in Economics or a closely related subject with experience delivering Economics to Year 12 and Year 13 classes
* Foster positive relationships with their students, setting and maintaining high expectations
* Demonstrate high standards of professionalism
* Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing
* Hold UK Right to Work
