A leading digital transformation consultancy is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join its award-winning team. With a proven track record of delivering complex, user-focused software solutions across the public sector, this organisation partners with government departments to design and build digital services that have real-world impact!
About the Role:
In this senior leadership role, you'll shape product strategy and lead agile teams across major public sector programmes. You'll own the product backlog, work hands-on with delivery leads and architects, and guide teams from discovery through to live.
We're looking for a highly astute commercial thinker, someone who understands how to grow and expand client accounts through trusted delivery. You'll play a key role in shaping roadmaps, managing stakeholders, and driving long-term value while remaining hands-on and deeply involved in day-to-day product decisions.
What We're Looking For:
Strong experience leading bespoke product delivery within Consulting
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and influencing best practice in agile product delivery
Extensive, demonstrable experience within UK public sector digital programmes (GDS)
Deep understanding of product ownership, backlog management, MVP delivery, and user-centred design
Commercially aware and ready to expand business. You need to have an eye for where a consulting business can expand their services within the public sector.
Skilled in facilitating workshops, managing stakeholders, and translating business goals into actionable product outcomes
The Package:
£120,000 - £155,000 base (depending on location)
