About Us:
We are working with a two-form entry school in the Borough of Newham. The school places emphasis on children developing a thirst for learning and they offer exciting opportunities to encourage this. From after the Easter break, they are looking for a part-time (Monday- Wednesday) Year 3 teacher. The school can offer a nurturing school community for the successful Year 3 Teacher. Key Responsibilities:
* Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 3 Teacher
* Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils as a Year 3 Teacher
* Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
* Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
* Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* QTS or equivalent.
* At least 1 years’ experience as a Year 3 Teacher
* Good understanding of the National Curriculum
* Prior experience as a Year 3 Teacher
* UK classroom-based experience
