We’re seeking a talented MI Manager to join our Business Finance team. This new role is pivotal in supporting the COO Function, which represents half of the UK cost base and delivers the UK Change Portfolio. You’ll play a key part in providing financial insight and challenge, helping shape strategic cost decisions, and ensuring the business has the relevant data and direction to succeed. About the role
 
 * Provide financial insight and challenge to the COO, covering both Run and Change costs.
 * Support aligned Senior Cost Managers in protecting and creating value across the COO business area.
 * Act as the main point of contact between Business Finance and the Cost Accounting team for COO.
 * Deliver insightful MI and commentary, including ad-hoc analysis for senior stakeholders.
 * Ensure cost drivers and allocations are appropriate for annual business planning and valuation.
 * Lead month-end cost reviews, preparing commentary and movement analysis.
 * Encourage a culture of cost control and continuous improvement across the COO and change portfolios.
 
About you
 
 * Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
 * Experience in financial systems, budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
 * Background in Commercial Finance or Management Accounting preferred. 
 * Highly numerate with excellent problem-solving skills and strong business curiosity.
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Oracle EPBCS, and Power BI.
 * Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
 * Able to work both independently and collaboratively, with a keen eye for detail.
