Job Description
Development of volume and cash margin within the secondary care / specialist clinics within the UK by achieving budgeted sales and margin. Responsible for new product introduction and developing core relationships within the sector, ensuring Glenmark’s portfolio is represented on all relevant tenders.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and sustain relationships with key decision makers in secondary care settings, such as hospital clinicians, consultants, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
2. Leverage relationships to build opportunities for off-contract sales within the customer base.
3. Drive to secure as much contracted business as possible within all accounts.
4. Network with customers across secondary care to identify projects and initiatives.
5. Develop and implement account-based territory business plans.
6. Achieve all sales and activity targets within a defined territory for specified products.
7. Ensure contract compliance in accordance with regional framework agreements.
8. Interpret sales and activity data to maximize effectiveness using available data.
9. Maximize return on investments within the financial year and for the product portfolio.
10. Maintain a high level of knowledge on company and competitor products, as well as changes in the NHS.
11. Identify market shortages and opportunities for off-contract sales.
12. Liaise with relevant departments within accounts to ensure smooth business operations.
Qualifications
* ABPI Preferred (must be prepared to gain qualification within the first 2 years in role).
