Location: Crowthorne
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (Monday-Sunday)
Shift Patterns: Early 06:30 - 15:00 | Late 12:00 - 20:30

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a busy education catering environment in Wokingham. You will support the Executive Chef in delivering high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver high-quality food, ensuring attention to dietary and allergen requirements
* Support catering functions and hospitality events
* Monitor food quality and maintain consistency
* Supervise kitchen staff and ensure safe working practices
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and FIFO storage procedures
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
* Record and monitor food waste
* Contribute to menu development
* Report maintenance issues and incidents
* Assist with special events as required
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a similar Sous Chef role
* Strong attention to detail and standards
* HACCP knowledge
* Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certification
* Flexible and positive approach to work
* Team leadership experience (desirable)
* Client relationship management (desirable)
* Passion for food and menu innovation (desirable)
* Good communication and admin skills (desirable)
