Administrative Assistant (North West Leicester CMHT Team)

As an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and face‑to‑face from patients and referrers. You will work proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff. You will process referrals, perform data inputting, support the wider teams as per service needs and carry out other general administration duties. For this role, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and a highly organised approach with good planning skills are required.
The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner are essential.
