VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major FMCG Client with the Recruitment of a Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic and growing team based in their Armagh Site.
Salary / £43,000 + Benefits Package
Hours / Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpretation of sales forecast and monitoring of stock movements;
2. Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise resource utilisation;
3. Monitor and analyse production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions;
4. Collaborate closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products;
5. Manage stock levels to balance supply and demand;
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Purchasing materials to meet forecasted demand;
8. Management of supplier's performance.
The Person:
9. Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment;
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to be flexible to accommodate the demands of a growing business and a small management team;
11. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations;
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
13. Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
14. Experience of using an ERP system, would be ideal, but not essential.
