Security Technician / Monitoring Operator
Location Bracknell
This role is shift based

As a Security Operator you will contribute to this by providing active cyber security monitoring of the network and management infrastructure. Your role will involve monitoring the core infrastructure of a large network in order to detect and highlight potential cyber security breaches. Working as part of an on-site 24x7 shift team under the supervision of a Tier 1 Cyber Security Analyst, you will contribute to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer’s services by responding to security alarms, determining the cause, and escalating accordingly.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the core infrastructure of a large network to detect and highlight potential cyber security breaches.
* Respond to security alarms, determine the cause, and escalate accordingly.
* Work as part of an on-site 24x7 shift team under the supervision of a Tier 1 Cyber Security Analyst.
* Contribute to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer services.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Interest in a career in cyber security.
* Attention to detail.
* Respect for process.
* Desire to learn.
* Some technical skills in an enterprise IT area (e.g. networking, servers).
* You must be willing and eligible to undergo security clearance for this position.
