In this role you will be expected to have a solid understanding of the whole technology research and development cycle from research and design to implementation and evaluation. A background in areas such as LLM based agents, knowledge graph, knowledge reasoning/inference and semantic search (text/image/video) is desired. Responsibilities as Knowledge Computing Researcher : Design and implement core modules in knowledge-augmented agent systems, including knowledge retrieval, memory modelling, and task orchestration. Drive the development of memory capabilities for intelligent agents, integrating structured and unstructured knowledge from multiple modalities. Architect solutions that deeply couple retrieval systems (RAG, KGs, databases) with agent planning, reasoning, and execution workflows. Work closely with LLM platforms, search infrastructure, and knowledge graph systems to build collaborative end-to-end agent solutions. Translate cutting-edge research into deployable systems across scenarios such as virtual assistants, intelligent QA, multi-agent collaboration, and AI developer tools. Be part of internal engineering efforts, with responsibility of algorithms, modelling, engineering and product scaling and support. Requirements: PhD in NLP, deep learning, knowledge engineering, information retrieval, or related fields. At least 3 years of work experience in at least one of the following fields is REQUIRED: Knowledge engineering technologies (RDF, SPARQL, OWL, SKOS) / Natural Language Processing (LLM, agent, entity detection, question answering, etc.) / Machine Learning & Deep Learning (LSTM, transformer, etc.). At least 2 (3-5 would be desirable) papers published on top conference/journal in the related fields like KDD, ISWC, ACL, NeurIPS, ICML, EMNLP, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, WWW, KR. Excellent software design and coding skills. Strong problem-solving, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desirable Experience: Experience of LLM based agent. Knowledge of various reinforcement learning (POMDP, Imitation Learning, etc.) and deep learning (word embedding, LSTM, GAN, Pretrained models etc) algorithms for NLP. Knowledge of building large-scale knowledge graphs, especially reasoning and inference engine on knowledge graphs. Experience of TensorFlow, pytorch.
