Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Contract Operations Manager will have responsibility for delivering and developing the customer contract and ensuring that strategies and business plans are in place to achieve targets and drive business performance and growth.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week
Key Duties of a Contract Operations Manager:
1. Ensuring all day to day operational requirements consistently meet the customers’ expectations.
2. Exceeding customer key performance measures, holding regular customer reviews and managing and developing client relationships.
3. Responsible for managing and developing the existing management teams and employee relations
4. Developing and implementing new initiatives and projects with the customer.
5. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to deliver best in class operations.
6. Preparing customer annual budgets and working within those financial boundaries whilst delivering improved financial performance.
7. Assume responsibility for managing Health & Safety, Personnel issues and Facilities across all sites.
Qualifications
8. Proven track record within 3PL.
9. A demonstrable track record in managing high volume, service driven warehouse operations for FMCG Customers.
10. Track record of working closely with customers and able to illustrate examples of how they have improved the relationships.
11. Excellent communication skills, ability to converse at all levels, shop floor, senior management and customer.
12. Should be a successful leader of teams, have positive personal qualities and attributes.
13. Must possess enthusiasm, drive and commitment, a creative thinker and the ability work outside the box.
14. Experience of open and closed book contracts.
15. IT Skills: MS Packages alongside good numerical skills.
