Salary: NJC Grade C: £25,583 - £26,403 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, 38.8 weeks per year. (Monday to Friday 8.30am–4.30pm)
Are you highly organised, confident with data systems, and motivated by making a difference for young people? We are seeking a committed and flexible Attendance, Data Administrator and First Aid Support to join our busy and supportive team at The Park Community School in Barnstaple, North Devon.
This is a vital role within the school, supporting excellent attendance, accurate data management, and the provision of first aid to students when required. The successful candidate will play a key part in helping us maintain high standards of care and record-keeping, ensuring that our students are well supported to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Attendance Officer with daily administration, including first-day calls, register checks, and absence monitoring.
* Assisting the Data Manager with reports, mark sheets, and the maintenance of Bromcom records.
* Providing first aid support as part of the wider First Aid team.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong IT and administrative skills (knowledge of Bromcom or other school MIS is desirable but not essential).
* Can communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
* Remains calm, resilient, and adaptable in a busy school environment.
* Holds (or is willing to train for) a First Aid qualification.
