Role Overview:
You will lead a large team to deliver safe, customer-centric, high-quality property repairs, improvements, projects, and maintenance services. The delivery will involve in-house staff, subcontractors, main contractors, and external consultants. You must ensure all works are conducted safely and competently, meeting all regulatory and legislative obligations, while maintaining customer focus.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing significant annual budgets, ensuring expenditure monitoring and compliance
* Delivering improvement programs and projects within performance and financial targets
* Optimizing resource deployment to maximize productivity and customer benefits
* Building relationships with stakeholders and partners to support organizational objectives
* Leading service delivery strategies across localities, including residential and non-residential portfolios
* Collaborating with senior leaders to achieve business outcomes efficiently
* Implementing innovative solutions to enhance customer service and operational efficiency
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience leading multidisciplinary, customer-focused teams in complex maintenance environments
* Strong knowledge of program development and performance improvement
* Financial planning and risk mitigation skills
* Ability to analyze data and develop meaningful metrics
* Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and value-driven approach
* Track record of delivering innovative concepts and adapting to policy changes
* Effective in meeting deadlines within complex environments
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
* Proven customer service achievements in complex delivery settings
