Step up and support the classroom
We’re looking for confident and reliable Classroom Supervisors to support secondary schools across North Leeds. If you’re considering a career in teaching, love working with young people, or already have experience leading groups, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Stepping into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons when teachers are absent
2. Keeping pupils on task and managing behaviour positively
3. Following school policies and routines to ensure smooth, calm lessons
4. Building relationships and becoming a valued member of the school community
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience working with young people (in schools, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, etc.)
6. Confidence to lead a classroom and manage behaviour
7. A calm, flexible approach and great communication skills
8. Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy to get stuck in
