Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor 30 hours per week, fixed term 24 months
We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our Occupational Therapy team at the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven as an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor.
Main duties of the job
The Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor will assist the Occupational Therapist to carry out delegated duties, within the acute team at the West Cumberland Hospital.
They will supervise and instruct patients in activities relating to their treatment programme and regularly feedback to the Occupational Therapist.
The service is part of a strong Occupational Therapy network, with links to the team at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, as well as the wider health and social care settings across North Cumbria. This provides many professional development opportunities and there is a strong focus on CPD within the team. * GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
* Essential IT skills (EITS) or equivalent.
