Eden Scott’s client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Banking Administrator Assistant to join their Banking Commercial Service team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in complaints processes, regulatory returns, client communications, and banking operational activities within a Banking services environment. The role is hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days at home after training Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the end-to-end complaints handling process, ensuring cases are recorded, tracked, and resolved in line with regulatory standards. Assist in compiling and submitting timely and accurate regulatory returns, ensuring full compliance with FCA/PRA requirements. Support the preparation and distribution of clear, compliant regulatory client communications, including disclosures and updates. Contribute to the smooth delivery of day-to-day operational activities, maintaining data accuracy and process efficiency. Liaise with internal teams such as Compliance, Risk, and Operations to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to controls. Help identify and implement improvements in administrative processes and reporting methods. Person Specification Experience in a banking or financial services role, ideally within a commercial or client service environment. Familiarity with UK financial regulations and administrative requirements related to complaints and reporting. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication, with a customer-focused and professional approach. Confident using MS Office tools and internal banking systems or CRMs. A proactive team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
