We're looking for a Shift Manager to join our Production team at our AMK Peterborough site, working 4 on and 4 off. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about leading and developing high-performing teams. You will lead a team of around 40 full time colleagues working on 11 Citrus lines to deliver high quality product.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a production area during night shifts, ensuring targets are achieved.
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, hygiene, and compliance.
* Oversee raw material usage to maximise yield and minimise waste.
* Monitor production data to track performance against targets.
* Escalate maintenance and repair needs for equipment and facilities.
* Manage and develop team members, including recruitment, training, and performance.
* Ensure full product and packaging traceability and compliance with technical standards.
About You
Experience
* Experience of managing a team in a production environment, ideally within the food sector
* Experience of managing staff including HR requirements, recruitment, performance management and appraisals
* Experience to working to budgets with accountability for labour costs
