About The Role
We are expanding our electrical division to meet the increasing needs of our growing business. We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team at the Liverpool branch. You will oversee a team of qualified mobile electricians, ensuring the delivery of top-quality electrical services across our mobile teams.
This role is vital for meeting deadlines, upholding quality standards, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively plan, organize, prioritize, and schedule work and resources to maximize productivity and ensure safe, compliant, and timely electrical service delivery.
* Lead and manage a team of NVQ Level 3 qualified mobile electricians, ensuring their development, motivation, and performance.
* Manage a key contract, ensuring outstanding service, timely fulfillment of requirements, and prompt resolution of issues.
* Support the Northern Electrical Manager to maximize daily output and achieve long-term goals.
* Communicate important information to the team via meetings, briefings, and company systems.
* Address customer and internal department issues professionally, seeking optimal solutions.
* Ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of electrical installations.
* Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
* Complete all necessary administration and records for departmental work control.
What We're Looking For
* A qualified electrician with an ECS Gold card (Installation Electrician highlighted).
* An experienced manager capable of motivating and developing team members.
* Confident communicator able to give clear instructions in person, via phone, and email.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
* Organized individual with good time management skills.
* A problem solver with a can-do attitude.
* Background in industrial, construction, or utilities sectors is advantageous but not essential.
* Comprehensive understanding of electrical health and safety regulations.
* Full driving license (no more than 6 points) and willingness to travel across the North region.
Qualifications and Experience
* ECS Gold card with Installation Electrician.
* City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification.
* SSSTS (preferable).
* CSCS Card (preferable).
* IOSH Managing Safely certification (preferable).
