Responsibilities
* My client is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their busy maintenance team. You’ll be carrying out maintenance, servicing, repairs, and compliance checks on commercial gas systems across a range of sites, helping to keep buildings safe, efficient, and reliable.
* Diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances and systems
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Install and commission new commercial gas plant and pipework when required
* Ensure work meets Gas Safe and industry standards
* Complete compliance documentation and job reports
* Take part in call-out rota and occasional weekend work
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial gas role
* Valid Commercial Gas ACS qualifications: COCN1, CCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1 / TPCP1A
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong knowledge of regulations and safe working practices
* Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable
* Additional LPG, Catering Gas, or Domestic Gas qualifications
* Experience in hospitals, schools, data centres, or other high-risk sites
* Awareness of wider building services (HVAC, plumbing, BMS)
