Recruitment Administrator
Location: Slough
Working hours: Monday to Friday hrs per week)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000-£28,000 per annum plus commisson and bonuses
About the Role
Gr8 Connect are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Administrator to join our busy recruitment office in Slough. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the recruitment team with administration, compliance, and candidate management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as first point of contact for candidates, clients, and visitors (phone, email, in person).
Manage candidate registrations, ensuring all documents are collected, verified, and compliant (e.g. right-to-work checks, licences, references).
Maintain and update the internal recruitment database (adding new candidates, updating availability, logging shifts).
Pre-screen and arrange interviews for candidates.
Support consultants with booking staff into shifts and confirming assignments.
Handle timesheets, payroll administration, and holiday requests.
Assist with producing weekly compliance and recruitment reports.
Provide general administrative support to the wider team (filing, scanning, correspondence).
Ensure GDPR and confidentiality standards are met at all times.
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience in recruitment administration, or a fast-paced office environment (desirable but not essential).
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook; experience with recruitment CRM systems an advantage).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
High attention to detail, especially in compliance and document checking.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving recruitment environment.
