What you’ll earn
Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect. Typically, Delivery Drivers can earn between £18 - £20 p/h (paid per parcel).
Daily & Weekly Payment Options. Yodel offers flexible payment options to Self-Employed delivery drivers, with earnings available from the next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or through the weekly payment cycle after 4 weeks of completed delivery services.
Both payment options allow you to receive more regular payments for the delivery services you have provided.
We have plenty of parcels to deliver. Parcels weigh up to 15 kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour depending on area and experience, for 6 days a week. The more you deliver, the more you earn, with the opportunity to take more parcels and boost your revenue.
Responsibilities
* Plan your own route or use our app with built-in optimisation to prepare and plan routes and liaise directly with customers.
* Deliver and collect parcels and scan them to confirm safe receipt by the customer.
* Arrange suitable times to collect parcels daily, or arrange delivery in rural areas as needed.
Schedule & Workload
* Regular work in the same area, 6 days a week, delivering for major retailers.
* Stay local, get to know the roads and customers.
Support & Development
* Independence of being self-employed with backing from our expert team and a Yodel representative.
* Access to the Onsi app and ongoing support to answer questions.

What you’ll need
* Access to an insured car or van (up to 3.5 tonnes).
* A full UK or EC/EEA Driving Licence.
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
* iOS or Android smartphone.
* Proof of your own bank account.
* A great attitude.
