Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced IT Resource Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their information services operations. Position: IT Resource Manager Rate: £28.51 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) Contract Duration: Temp (Sep 2026) Possible Extension Working Arrangement: Hybrid Purpose: To deliver effective hybrid resource management across operational and project environments, ensuring optimal workforce planning, utilisation, allocation, and demand forecasting to support Council services, projects and strategic priorities. Job Responsibilities: Plan, forecast and allocate resources across services and programmes. Maintain accurate workforce, capacity and resource planning data. Provide analysis and reporting on resource usage, shortages, constraints and future demand. Job Requirements: Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - Desirable. Knowledge of workforce planning, capacity management and resource allocation principles. Experience using resource or workforce planning systems. Knowledge of project management methodologies and project resourcing approaches. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
