An Ofsted-rated Outstanding mainstream primary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. The Role:
* Take responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum expectations
* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support achievement
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and personal development
* Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
* Contribute to wider school life and uphold the values and ethos of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the primary curriculum
* Be confident in classroom and behaviour management
* Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and improving pupil outcomes
* Be a reflective practitioner who works well as part of a team
* Show commitment to maintaining the high standards expected within an Outstanding school
