We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Year 5 Teacher to join our friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Dorset. This permanent, full-time role starting in September 2025 offers an excellent opportunity to lead and support pupils through an important stage of their learning journey.

About the Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing stimulating lessons that meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. You will foster a classroom environment that promotes independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
You will work closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective teamwork and provide tailored support to help each pupil achieve their potential.
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with full induction and mentoring support available.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience or strong interest in teaching upper Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5

Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks

Creative and engaging teaching style that inspires pupils

Strong classroom management and organisational skills
*
Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
*
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
