We are currently looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and friendly person, either RGN or ODP, to join our dynamic, fast‑paced Day Surgery Theatre Suite. The role is for an ODP/Anaesthetic nurse with scrub or recovery experience.
We offer a wide and varied range of surgical specialties, including Maxillo Facial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic trauma, elective procedures, Gynaecology, Breast, Minor Plastics, Urology and Ophthalmology, covering elective procedures in all of the mentioned specialties.
Responsibilities
* Provide anaesthetic support as the primary duty.
* Work cohesively within multidisciplinary teams in Recovery and Scrub.
* Provide evidence of continuing professional development.
* Work flexible shift and weekend hours as required, with flexibility to work across all sites in Fife.
* Part‑time posting with salary pro‑rata (if applicable).
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with Anaesthetic experience.
* Scrub or recovery experience.
* Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
We have a robust induction program, supported by a team of Clinical Educators and a part‑time Education Coordinator.
