JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the provision of care within Brook Care Home, a small home consisting of 20 beds.
Duties:
* Oversee and manage the daily operations of the care home.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care for residents, personalized care plans.
* Supervise and train staff members.
* Coordinate and monitor resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met.
* Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and well-being.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a healthcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and dementia care.
* Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
* Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
