Overview
Business Transformation Lead - Contract (12 months) located in Belfast. Hybrid workplace. This role drives business and operational change to enhance client service delivery through digital content solutions, optimizing content retrieval and data governance within the Firm’s platforms.
Responsibilities
* Conduct hands-on project management of large-scale, multi-dimensional global projects, overseeing implementation of predefined solutions and new initiatives, including a digital workplace solution replacing the intranet and external client-facing platforms.
* Lead organizational change, provide project and transformation expertise, and apply change management principles; collaborate with program teams to prioritize, address roadblocks, and ensure cohesive strategies.
* Apply stakeholder management strategies, including organizational change, communication planning, training preparation, and engagementtailored to stakeholder needs.
* Define and deliver a robust communication strategy to keep all parties informed; foster collaboration and align activities with Firm strategic goals.
* Identify resource needs and allocate personnel and materials for successful implementation.
* Consult with key stakeholders to plan milestones and ensure workstreams meet objectives within timelines and budget.
* Collaborate with workstream leads to define roles, actions, and success metrics; conduct regular status reviews and adapt strategies as needed.
* Conduct risk and issue analysis with emphasis on identification, evaluation, response, and escalation, with understanding of risks in a legal context.
* Partner with Technology teams, workstream leads, and SMEs to ensure content and data management aligns with Firm strategies and best practices.
* Establish tracking systems for quality metrics and reporting to monitor accountability across departments.
* Develop and manage project deliverables and decisions, including charters, scope definitions, project plans, resource plans, schedules, status reports, and dashboards.
Skills And Experience
* Extensive experience leading transformation and organizational change programs within a consultancy, professional services, legal, or IT environment; proven leadership of project, change, and operational teams.
* Experience in a legal environment, professional services, and/or knowledge management is highly desirable.
* Experience with AI solutions and GenAI evaluation and implementation projects is highly desirable.
* Hands-on project management experience in business transformation with a broad range of projects.
* Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable with agile and iterative testing and implementation, incorporating stakeholder feedback.
* Ability to communicate clearly with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders; credibility, trust, and dependability.
* Excellent stakeholder management across all levels of the organization.
* Ability to navigate ambiguity and offer clear direction and recommendations.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
