Executive Support Officer
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Executive Support Officer to join our well-established client based in Tamworth.

Working times:
Monday to Friday: 09:00-17:00 (08:00-16:00 occasionally)
Rates of pay:
£16.11 per hour

Day-to-day duties:
As an Executive Support Officer, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
Filing and scanning documents
Responding to emails and phone enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Supporting Committee processes including report management
To organise and oversee the administration of and executive support
Maintaining accurate records and updating databases
To organise, attend meetings, take minutes and accurately record actions
Preparing and formatting documents, reports, and correspondence
Facilitate the administration of road closure notices
Supporting the management team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and room bookings
Handling incoming and outgoing post diary management for members of CMT and the Leader assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary

Compose presentations, spreadsheets and reports as directed and to assist with the preparation of complex reviews and reports.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Essential skills:
To be successful as an Executive Support Officer, you will need:
Able to work on own initiative to solve problems demonstrating a proactive approach
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Highly developed written and oral communication skills
Confident in dealing with difficult customer enquiries both over the telephone and face to face
Knowledge and understanding of Data protection
Good working knowledge of functions and the roles of members including civic duties and the roles of different committees
Able to work on own and as part of a team
Experience of producing complex reports and presentations
Highly organised
Communication skills should be exemplary both verbally and in writing with an IT level that is highly proficient.
Desirable skills:
Previous administration experience or experience in a related field
Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
Training:
Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout.
