Role
The role of the Production Planning Engineer is to be the on-shift escalation point for any Production Planning queries.
Responsibilities
* Carry out the day-to-day Production Planning duties to include, building robust production plans for maintenance inputs, building work packages in AMOS and inputting technical data.
* Perform reviews of work packages to ensure all consumables expendables and tooling have been fully identified and can be made readily available for any planned maintenance input.
* Ensure regulatory requirements for Production Planning are adhered to at all times.
* Build accurate Man Hour and Hangar Bay plans for review by Management and or QA.
* Represent Production Planning during internal and external audits.
* Take ownership of department objectives and goals.
* Work closely with the Lead Production Planning Engineer in creating cross team dynamics and ensure all processes and procedures are monitored and kept up to date.
* Monitor compliance through sampling.
* Participate or host required pre-input meetings.
* Continuously monitor processes to ensure maximum efficiency can be achieved.
* Ensure prior to start of input there has been no revision changes to the approved data.
Qualifications
* Be able to work unsupervised but also be a team player who will grasp opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.
* Previous experience of using the AMOS system.
* Aircraft Engineering Degree preferable.
* Experience of working in a maintenance planning environment.
* Must have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
