What you’ll be doing:
* Teaching engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available depending on experience
* Planning and delivering lessons that spark curiosity and build real understanding
* Creating a positive classroom culture where behaviour is well managed and expectations are clear
* Tracking progress and adapting teaching to support all learners, including those with additional needs
* Contributing to the wider Science department, sharing ideas and best practice
* Supporting students’ academic growth and confidence in a meaningful way
What the school is looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
* Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
* Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
* A proactive, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
