HR Business Partner – Employee Relations & Employment Law (UK & Europe) Location: Harrow Full-Time | Permanent Department: Human Resources About the Role We’re seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Business Partner to join our clients progressive HR team and lead on all matters related to employee relations, employment law, and cultural integration. You’ll play a key role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace across the UK and Europe. Key Responsibilities * Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management. * Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal policies. * Partner with managers to build capability and drive best practice in people management. * Lead or support the integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with company values and culture. * Champion initiatives that foster a strong, inclusive, and engaging company culture. * Collaborate cross-functionally with HR colleagues and business leaders to deliver strategic people solutions. * Monitor employment law developments and proactively update policies and practices. * Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership teams. * Support or lead projects across Ireland and/or wider Europe, applying local employment law knowledge where applicable. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or Employee Relations role. * Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application. * Experience in integrating new companies and driving cultural alignment. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset. * Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion, empathy, and professionalism. * Experience with Irish and/or European employment law is a strong advantage. * CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
