We welcome anyone who wants to make a positive contribution to our charitable purpose to support families in lifting themselves and their children out of poverty—someone who has communications and marketing experience, income generation experience, or legal experience. Regardless of your experience, your enthusiasm to support the work of the charity and the other trustees is important. What will you be doing? Applicants with or without previous Board experience are welcome, but you should be prepared to take the role of Trustee within the organisation, giving approximately one half day every two months on average. (This may vary depending on any specific projects or sub-committees.) Our staff team carry out all operational activity and actively support the Board. The role of Trustee is to bring their expert knowledge and strategic guidance to support and develop the charity. Why Join Our Charity?
