With a strong reputation for professionalism, reliability, and delivering on time, we work with some of the country’s leading developers and main contractors. Based in Postcombe, Oxfordshire, our business is growing — and we are looking to expand our management team with the addition of an experienced\n\nMechanical Project Manager.\n\nRole Overview\n\nThis is a key role within our project delivery team.
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the mechanical package on new build projects from pre-construction through to completion. You’ll manage all site activities, coordinate with consultants, and supply chain partners, and ensure our projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to a high standard of workmanship.\n\nYou’ll be working on projects including:\n\n * New build residential housing developments\n\n * Purpose-built care homes\n\n * Commercial new build schemes (offices, mixed-use buildings, light industrial)\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical works on multiple new build sites (typically £500k–£3m)\n\n * Take ownership of planning, installation, testing and commissioning of systems\n\n * Ensure projects meet all regulatory, safety, quality, and design specifications!\n\n * Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to maintain strong working relationships.\n\n * Lead subcontractor coordination and internal delivery teams\n\n * Control budgets, procurement schedules, and resource planning\n\n * Produce project documentation including RAMS, progress reports, and O&M manuals.\n\n * Conduct and chair regular site meetings and technical reviews.\n\nRequirements\n\n * A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience managing mechanical services on new build construction projects\n\n * Technical knowledge of systems including heating, hot & cold water, ventilation, and renewable technologies (e.g. heat pumps, underfloor heating)\n\n * Strong grasp of mechanical design principles, technical drawings, and installation methods\n\n * Excellent leadership and organisational skills\n\n * Familiarity with building regulations, CDM, and industry standards (CIBSE, BESA, etc.)\n\n * Commercial awareness and experience working under JCT and D&B contracts.\n\n * Full UK driving licence.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n * Minimum of NVQ level 2 in plumbing and heating.
