Physiotherapy Manager | Physiotherapy | Private hospital | Southampton | Permanent - Full-time
The Spire Southampton Hospital is looking for a Physiotherapy Manager, who will be responsible for ensuring exemplary physiotherapy care is delivered for patients whilst managing the physiotherapy department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs
2. Establish and maintain communication with various individuals and groups on complex potentially stressful topics, across a range of situations
3. Develop own managerial and clinical knowledge and practice and assist others to continually professionally develop.
4. Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health safety and security.
5. Develop strategies and policies for service improvement and development.
6. Improve quality.
7. Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
8. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
9. Delegate work to others.
10. Determine the effective use of physical and financial resources.
11. Undertake Human Resource activities for all members of the team.
12. Assist with research and development.
13. Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment of patients.
14. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Who we are looking for;
15. Experience of clinical leadership/management in a similar setting
16. Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
17. HCPC Registered
18. Supervisory/Management qualification - is desirable
19. Chartered Society of Physiotherapy - desirable
20. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
21. Ability to deal with difficult and sensitive issues in a supportive and professional manner to effect positive outcomes
22. Approachable
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Saturday working
