Role Overview
Pentagon Technical Services is an international technical services organisation operating across the UK, Europe and wider global markets, with continued expansion across EMEA, APAC and the United States.
As the business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced HR & Business Manager to oversee the development and management of the company’s people operations and internal business processes from our Head Office.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of the organisation, responsible for maintaining the structure, governance, and operational discipline required to support a fast-growing international business.
The role combines HR leadership, contractor governance and operational business support, ensuring that the organisation’s people, processes and internal infrastructure remain strong as the company scales internationally.

This is not a purely strategic HR role, and it is not solely office administration.
The role is about creating and maintaining the operational backbone of a high-performing professional services business. From onboarding and compliance to contractor engagement, governance and supporting leadership, the HR & Business Manager plays a central role in ensuring the organisation operates efficiently as it expands across EMEA, APAC and US markets.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation management, and offboarding.
* Provide guidance to leadership on employment matters, HR governance and people management practices.
* Maintain accurate HR records and personnel files in line with compliance and GDPR requirements.
* Support the development and administration of the Pentagon Technical Services Graduate Programme.
* Work with internal leadership to ensure graduates and apprentices receive appropriate mentoring, development, and operational exposure.
* Assist leadership in maintaining consistent people management standards across international operations.
* Ensure all employee and contractor documentation is accurate, secure and compliant with GDPR.
* Support internal reporting and workforce governance requirements.
* Assist with the development of internal processes, operational structure, and organisational documentation as the company continues to scale.
* Support performance management frameworks including probation reviews and employee appraisal processes.
Role Scope
